For AV integrators & field techs · Windows and Mac

Know every device on the network. Remember it next time.

NodeRoster finds the DSPs, amps, displays, controllers and switches on a job site, tells you what they are, and keeps a roster by customer, site and room, so the next visit starts where the last one ended.

A network scanner built for the rack, not the help desk

General IP scanners tell you an address is in use. On a commissioning or service call you need more: is that the Q-SYS Core or the touch panel, which amplifier went offline overnight, which switch port is the projector on, and what did this room look like last time you were here? NodeRoster answers those questions and remembers the answers.

Scan & identify

Find every device in a range in seconds, with manufacturer, hostname, services and a best guess at what it is: “Likely Q-SYS device”, “Shure network audio”, “Samsung display”.

Device details (early)

For a small but growing set of gear, NodeRoster can ask the device itself for its model, name and firmware, read-only. We’re adding manufacturers during the beta, so tell us what you work with.

Watch overnight

Leave Watch Mode running and come back to a clean log of what appeared, dropped off, came back or changed IP, without the noise from phones and smart-home gadgets.

A roster that remembers

Save devices with friendly names, customer, site, room, expected IP and notes. Devices are tracked by MAC address, so they’re recognized even after their IP changes.

Switch ports & PTP

See which switch port each device is on (SNMP), and check Dante and AES67 clock leaders and followers by listening only, never sending.

Your data stays with you

Everything runs and is stored on your own computer. No account, no cloud, no tracking. Export to CSV or back up whenever you like.

Free beta, now open to working techs

NodeRoster is in beta for Windows 10/11 and macOS 12 or later (Intel and Apple Silicon). Beta testers get founder pricing when it launches.
